Returns policy

Returns will be accepted within 28 days of the date of purchase if returned with receipt and original packaging in a resellable condition. Due to health & safety concerns there are no returns on bicycles,car racks, shorts with liner/chamois, shoes with cleats installed, or any sale or special order (warehouse) items unless defective. In the case of a warranty claim the manufacturer of the item makes the final decision as to wether the item meets warranty requirements. Any cost incurred in shipping a product to a manufacturer to determine a warranty claim is the responsibility of the customer.

Easy Returns

 

At Cap's Westwood Cycle our priority is to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are not, please feel free to return your item(s) within 28 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund.

Items can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in "showroom condition" with its original packaging and with a valid receipt.

The following items cannot be returned unless defective:  bikes, car racks, shorts/tights with liner,shoes with cleats installed, food, media such as DVD's, special order items, sale items.

Returns can be made at any Cap's Westwood Cycle store (Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby or Maple Ridge) including purchases made online. Or you can return your purchase by mail.

Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit & debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase. Due to the high incidence of fraud we regret we are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt.

Please note that we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the value of the goods for returns to cover costs associated with the sale & assembly of products.

Returning your purchase by mail

To return your purchase by mail please complete our returns form stating whether you would like a refund, exchange, or have a warranty issue. please also provide us with details of why you wish to return your purchase, as your input is invaluable to us when reviewing the products we stock.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe & secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty cards, manuals & accessories)

All products shipped to you from any location including LTP sports or TCG on behalf of Westwood Cycle must be returned to the above address.For your security we do not hold your credit card details. Upon receipt of your returned items we will contact you for your payment card details. Please ensure you have supplied an applicable daytime phone number so we can contact you.

Returning your purchase to a store

We also offer the option of returning your online purchase to your local Cap's Westwood Cycle store.

Simply take your purchase and the original receipt into your local store. You will be issued with a refund, or you can browse the store and exchange your purchase for an alternative product. Our knowledgeable staff are always available to help if you have questions.

As with postal returns, store items must be made within 28 days, refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and goods must be returned in original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals & accessories.

Potential Warranty Items

On receipt of your items, if you feel they are defective, please send back to the returns department. For more information contact us at 604-941-7822

All used items must be cleaned before return, we cannot deal with any dirty items & they will be returned to you.

On receipt of your item we will carry out a warranty inspection and contact you within 3 working days of receipt.

If your purchase is outside our 28 day return period but within the manufacturers' warranty period we will repair or replace the item as stated in the manufacturers warrany guidelines. In some instances items for warranty will need to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection. We will keep you informed. Final decision on warranties is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims
